The great people running The Squirrel Inn are Tracey and Gerald Hobbs, a local brother and sister-in-law duo. They have many years of experience in working with and serving customers, and enjoy spending time with our regulars. We are a lively pub that has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All of our customers are friendly, which helps us to maintain such a hospitable environment. The atmosphere, alongside our thirst-quenching drinks and delicious food, has led to us receiving many positive reviews from visitors.
When the warm Somerset sun beats down, there is nothing more enjoyable than soaking up the rays while sipping an ice-cold pint in our beer garden. It is filled with tables and a lovely wooden gazebo, offering customers a variety of places to sit. At the front of the pub there is a large field which offers fantastic views and encapsulating sunsets. The field can also be used for self-catering camping.
Every year, on the 6th of January, we uphold the local traditional of the Ashen Faggot. This tradition has been maintained for more than 42 years now, and is something that is truly beloved by locals.
